TERAGREN 7-COAT FINISH SYSTEM

 

Teragren manufactures prefinished products with a proprietary water-based,
solvent-free finish

 

There are seven layers of finish sitting atop every plank of prefinished Teragren flooring, stair
parts and trim, and each coat is flash-dried with ultraviolet light in a process known as
UV-curing. The seven coats are comprised of four UV-cured sealer coats, a coat with
suspended aluminum oxide for abrasion resistance, and two coats of high-quality,
scratch-resistant polyurethane. With polyurethane used as the two topcoats,
future re-coating will be easier and will maintain the integrity of the
aluminum oxide-treated coat and base hardwood bamboo.
Teragren finish is backed by a 25-year residential/10-year
heavy-use commercial warranty (does not apply to
Spectrum or Elements flooring).
