Spectrum is designed for the builder or consumer who wants a consistent pattern or look in three-foot-long planks. The 7-coat German finish includes a layer of abrasion-resistant aluminum oxide plus two scratch-resistant, polyurethane topcoats to protect the bamboo's natural strength and toughness. The finish is water-based and solvent-free, and the manufacturing adhesives emit less formaldehyde than is present in ambient air.
